I’ve never talked to anyone. I’m used to handling things on my own. Aren’t people who go to therapy weak?
Not at all. People who ask for help know when they need it and have the courage to reach out. Everyone needs help now and then. In our work together, I’ll help you explore and identify your strengths and how to implement them to reduce the influence of the problems you are facing.
What’s the difference between talking to you or my best friend or family?
The difference is between someone who can do something, and someone who has the training and experience to do that same thing professionally. A mental health professional can help you approach your situation in a new way– teach you new skills, gain different perspectives, listen to you without judgment or expectations, and help you listen to yourself. Furthermore, counseling is completely confidential. You won’t have to worry about others “knowing my business.” Lastly, if your situation provokes a great deal of negative emotion, and you’ve been confiding in a friend or family member, there is the risk that once you are feeling better you could start avoiding that person so you aren’t reminded of this difficult time in your life.
Why shouldn’t I just take medication?
Medication can be effective but it alone cannot solve all issues. Sometimes medication is needed in conjunction with counseling. Our work together is designed to explore and unpack the problems you are experiencing and expand on your strengths that can help you accomplish your personal goals.
How does it work? What do I have to do in sessions?
Because each person has different issues and goals for counseling, it will be different depending on the individual. I tailor my therapeutic approach to your specific needs.
How long will it take?
Unfortunately, this is not possible to say in a general FAQs page. Everyone’s circumstances are unique to them and the length of time counseling can take to allow you to accomplish your goals depends on your desire for personal development, your commitment, and the factors that are driving you to seek counseling in the first place.

Why is Conscious Uncoupling™ effective and different from other approaches?
It provides quick, effective tools to navigate through the divorce and break up process with keeping a positive future at the forefront. It works towards letting go of blame, victim mentality, and focuses on self responsibility. The Conscious Uncoupling process sees breakdowns as catalysts to restore wholeness and create deep transformation.
How is Conscious Uncoupling™ different from counselling?
The Conscious Uncoupling process aim is help develop the skills and capacities to help you to move forward towards a positive future. Although this process does touch on the grief process and the past experiences, the focus is on breaking patterns and creating more of what you want. Whereas, Counselling focuses on goals, and has more flexibility in sessions. The client can take a longer time to work through grief process, explore in depth the past, expressing your experiences and is more supportive. The Conscious Uncoupling process follows a groundbreaking framework that has focused sessions, that are directive, yet collaborative with client. If the desire is to share story in depth, and be heard counselling might be a better fit. During our free 20 minute discovery session we can discuss what will be the best fit.
Can I get at my own pace with Conscious Uncoupling™ program
Absolutely, I am here to meet you where at, at the same time gently nudge you to take the next steps. I recognize that you are unique, and you process grief at your own pace. However, I don't want you to get stuck either. This process is meant to create immediate long lasting changes. It does require to complete all the steps in specific period of time. I have include a couple different coaching packages that can meet different needs of clients.
How does the Conscious Uncoupling ™ process work?
We will be using the Conscious Uncoupling book along with the one on one sessions. The book will add richness and depth to our sessions. To receive optimal results, read book, complete all exercises, and all sessions. The package you choose will determine the pace and depth that we will go in each step.
What if I go through all steps and need more sessions?
Absolutely, We can do three integrative sessions or single sessions as needed.
Are payment plans available?
Yes, there are options to pay the whole package fee or pay for monthly sessions.
If I purchase the package do the session expire?
No, they don't expire. However, it is highly recommended to stick with the program to create consistency and get the most benefit. If the sessions are spread out too far you might not get the full transformation you are looking for.
